Hi you guys! I’ve been busy cleaning out my crafty area to make room for new Hero Arts stamps (check out the Hero Arts blog on Monday to see them, can’t wait!). I found a bunch of stamps that I have duplicates of, plus some oldies but goodies, plus some buttons and flower embellishments. Here’s just a little sampling:
So, how about a giveaway!
To enter, leave me a comment with something you love about spring! I am going to limit the giveaway to US residents only, as I plan to get a BIG flat-rate postage box and cram it full of lotsa stampy goodness.
I’ll announce the random winner on Friday.
Here’s just a few things that I love about spring to get things rolling: the birds are singing, our wonderful Texas wildflowers are blooming (yep, even in this drought we’re having!), Miss Plum blooms her head off, it’s perfect for bike riding and kite flying, and the wild onions are tender and tasty (perfect for omelettes). Oh and strawberries and asparagus are in season. Yum.
Can’t wait to see your comments! And! For an extra chance to win, subscribe to my blog feed and leave a second comment to let me know that you signed up. Already a subscriber? Leave me a second comment and let me know that, too. Yay!
i want that fox! lol… what i love about spring is….saying good-bye to winter! hah! here in ny, that means no more puffy down coats, less weight when we roll!
I love the gorgeous spring weather in AZ.. time for blooming flowers, hummingbirds, & gardening! :)
I love everything coming back to life, the trees and flowers. I love seeing all the new little furry creatures running about the yard.

Yay for spring, indeed! Hi Lisa. I live in Austin, too, and I love days like today. After the early spring pollen storm and before the real heat of summer, when days are 80 degrees and sunny with puffy clouds and singing birds. And I really love opening the windows and letting all that fresh air come inside! Thanks for sharing the stampy love. I don’t have any of the stamps in your photo above and can easily imagine giving them a happy new place to live. :-)
Hi Janice! I know just what you mean about the pollen storm! So glad it’s almost over! :)
My favorite thing about spring is how the dogwoods and wisteria and azaleas in my neighborhood all bloom at once. It seems like overnight my little neighborhood goes from ordinary to unbelievably beautiful! I just love it.
I love that day when you wake up and the tree you look at every single day is green and gorgeous and you didn’t even see it happening!
Ooh, springtime!!! When we lived in PA, I loved the seeing our yard filled with blooms – cherry bushes, forsythia, plum tree, etc. Now that we’re in waaaaay south TX, spring means the pool is open and all the little anolls are running around again, which provides great entertainment for both me and my kiddos :)
I love watching the little anolls too! There’s one that hangs out on my front porch, love seeing him there :)
I love that spring gives the planet a good washing! From treetops to sidewalks, everything gets a good scrub-a-dub from mother nature (especially here in Philly where it is especially needed)!
.. and ditto, that fox is so adorable!
I love all the wildflowers!
The lawns turning a lush green, flowers blooming, neighbors walking and kids riding their bikes. Not a love but me dashing to and from the car avoiding being stung by bees and wasps, yikes!
I’ve been a subscriber to your blog for a while now. I always look forward to your updates – you always sound so happy and your cards are an inspiration :)
Ive entered many givaways, but I want this one to be my first win!! Soo cool! Thanks for the chance to win some “stampy goodness”!!
My favorite things about spring are flowers and later sunlight hours. My lawn right now is a sea of purple–violets are blooming. Love having flowering weeds! I so love your blog. Thanks for sharing. –Elena
Just subscribed!! (at least i think i did..)
I have an RSS subscription–is that what you’re referring to? You have been on my must read list for a couple of years, now! :) Elena
Yep, that’s what I mean — RSS subscription or subscribing to the feed — thanks so much Elena! :)
What a lovely giveaway. I think that fox is so adorable and I love the cloud background. I have a lot of Hero Arts, but I don’t have those. Keeping my fingers crossed.
I am going to tell you what I love about “normal Springs”. Here in the Pacific NW we have had a rainy, cold, nasty Spring thus far. I love the first smells of fresh cut grass, the first day out digging in the dirt with the sun warming my back. The Spring flowers are so fragrant and delicate. Can you tell Spring is my favorite time of year?
Hi Karen, I’ll trade you some rain for some sunshine — it’s sooooo hot and dry here! :)
I think my favorite thing this spring has been the vivid colors of nature. I wake up in the morning and I am amazed everyday how beautiful everything I see outside is.
How nice of you, Lisa, and it would mean extra that it came from you! I’m with you on the singing birds (and the fresh air doesn’t hurt either when you open the windows!) And the asparagus – my fave vegie!! My DH has already planted baby lettuces, mesclun mix, spinach, and I LOVE the few weeks that it’s not too hot (which makes them bolt) when I can go out there in the morning and pick enough for a salad for lunch – YUMM! And then there’s watching all the stuff pop out of the ground – you can see them growing overnight sometimes! Right now it’s been chilly again, so all we have are lenten roses, some daffodils, and scilla, but they are all full of flowers – the bad winter must have been good for them!!
I love seeing the woods behind my house green up with the sounds of birds returning to my feeders. Also, seeing the baby lambs on the way to work always bring a smile to my face!
Thanks for the chance for some goodies!
We like to hike as well and it’s always fun to see what is blooming out on the trails! Sometimes I have to remind myself to slow down and admire the beauty!
