Hi you guys! I’ve been busy cleaning out my crafty area to make room for new Hero Arts stamps (check out the Hero Arts blog on Monday to see them, can’t wait!). I found a bunch of stamps that I have duplicates of, plus some oldies but goodies, plus some buttons and flower embellishments. Here’s just a little sampling:

Here’s just a few things that I love about spring to get things rolling: the birds are singing, our wonderful Texas wildflowers are blooming (yep, even in this drought we’re having!), Miss Plum blooms her head off, it’s perfect for bike riding and kite flying, and the wild onions are tender and tasty (perfect for omelettes). Oh and strawberries and asparagus are in season. Yum.

What a nice and generous giveaway Lisa! One of my favorite things about Spring is hearing the “Peepers” (frogs) singing away down at the pond- it is so fun and I love all the birds making nests as well……….just not on the light by my front door please!
Hi Lisa! You are very generous! Spring! For me it has to first be the sound of the birds early in the mornings when I am out on my run! I also find that on those days when the sky is clear, the blue looks so soft and gentle, just the way it is today here in Houston! Sunshine and warmth, so full of promises!

I love the smell of spring! From the blossoms to the smell of fresh cut grass for the first time since fall. The warm sun on my face is awesome too. Love all your goodies.

I love spring because there are a lot more “green” around. I love how spring it is to see green everywhere…so soothing and pleasant.
Spring always reassures me that life is renewed and keeps coming back no matter how hard the weather pounds it. Sort of a metaphor for life and it’s ups and downs.
I live in California, and the best thing about spring here in Orange County is the big puffy white clouds and bright bright blue skies!! Feeling the warmth and hearing the birds chirp! Hanging out by the lake, pond or the beach drinking a Carmel Frappachino and enjoying the beautiful weather that The OC has to offer!!

I have so many favorite things about spring. . . .Just that feeling, ya know, that it’s all starting, it’s all ahead. The warmth, the bright blue skies, the grass and trees greening up before my eyes. Knowing that it’s all still coming, is the best! Can’t wait to see my Crab Apple bloom again! And I’m looking so forward to planting my gardens!I Of course I love all the flowers too and it’s my favorite time of year where I work in the flower department. The smell of the Hyacinth is amazing right now. Almost every customer comments about it. Love all the beautiful pastels too!
I think that feeling is better than I ever remember because the winter here in Minnesota was just brutal this year! I’m soooo glad it’s here! Yay! :)

Thank you Lisa, for this awesome giveaway! Well, being a chef, Spring is when I get my gardens ready for planting fruit, veggies and herbs. All my gardening books have arrived and give me inspiration for cardmaking and painting. Here in New England, I look forward to the arrival of hummingbirds, blue birds, orioles and grosbeaks. Ahh – the snow is finally gone!!

I love to see all the beautiful flowers coming up, it means Spring is here! My daffodils just bloomed and the tulips are on their way. I love Spring because it means Summer is coming right after.
I love the feeling in the air in Spring…everything is fresh, the sun shines brighter but the weather isn’t too hot yet. I love that I always want to clean out closets and purge stuff in the Spring too!
