Hey you guys! How is your week going so far? Mine has been busy busy — there’s just not enough hours in the day, right? I’ve got several projects in the works that I can’t wait to share with you, but none are done yet. (Really can’t wait to share, there’s been some major giggling over here!)
So instead I thought I’d share another card using the Hero Arts Print & Flower Pattern stamp that didn’t make it in to the Summer Catalog. (You may remember the bird card that I shared earlier? Well, I made this one on the same day.)
I love this stamp so much, can’t get enough of it! (Neither can Winslow the Owl, he really likes it too.) Here I colored the whole card with markers, lightly misted it, and then stamped it on a white card.
To make the window, first I stamped the message on the front of the card for positioning, then punched out two circles on the left and right sides of the message (leaving a little extra space). Next I used a craft knife and a ruler to cut out the space between the two punched circles. Then I stamped the message again on the inside of the card, and that’s it!
Hope your day is filled with laughter,
I was just thinking about you! Nice to know you’re busy, busy and can’t wait to see all that you share! Love this colorful card, Lisa! So cool the way you cut the window! Hugs! :)
Love this card! And thanks for the tip too!
Gorgeous card Lisa – I love the cute window and happy colours. Definitely one to raise a giggle ;)
Hope your knee is doing ok, and can’t wait to see what you’ve got up your crafty sleeves!
Hugs, Ruth S
Hi Ruth! The knee is definitely on the mend (knocking on wood)! YAY! :)
Great card Lisa! So colorful and pretty! Love the cut out message area too!
Too cute! Love the window cut idea. No need to get out the Cuttlebug. Hope you knee is mending with all these laughs…..thinking of you. Thanks so much.
Gorgeous card Lisa. Hope you are feeling better. Sorry for not commenting and participating in the past few posts…my back is giving me problems and I cant sit for more than 10 minutes at a stretch. I’m feeling a bit better now.
This is adorable! I love your bright colors! I cannot wait to see more of what all those giggle have produced!! Have a great weekend!
Cute, cute, cute! I just have to try making one of these. Any tips on how to center the text, so that the window looks even?
thanks!
I love the card, but for some reason, my firefox has the left hand column in the centre, so I’m missing the right hand information, pictures and text.
That is so weird, it looks okay in firefox for me. Maybe try making the window bigger? Hugs!
So Pretty…..is that the Pottery Barn Owl Night Light? Love him….got him for our grand baby and it lights up in so many colors…..Hugs!
