Bring on the bling!

Hey you guys! Did you know that Hero Arts has holiday cards as one of the themes for this month’s challenge? I just love making holiday cards! It gives me a chance to break out the glitter and bring on the bling! Yah!

But I gotta admit, sometimes it’s a little crazy being a designer for them. I made this card back in July — I remember that it was over 100 degrees that day. My snowflakes were melting as fast as I could stamp ’em! Ha!

(Find out more about this card, including complete materials and instructions.)

Now it seems like the holidays are just around the corner, can you believe it? Well, if you have trouble getting in the spirit or coming up with card ideas I have the class for you: Holiday Card Boot Camp! It’s going to be co-taught by Jennifer McGuire and Kristina Werner and they’ve asked 12 friends to be guest designers — including me! Yay!

And I gotta tell ya, now’s the time to get started on holiday cardmaking. Can’t tell you how many years I’d have the perfect card planned out but didn’t get started until it was too late! Best to start now before it gets too crazy.

I’m going to be giving away a spot in the class tomorrow, so come back for a chance to win! (And, if you’ve already signed up for the class and you’re the lucky winner, you’ll get a refund of the class price — aren’t they generous?)

See you tomorrow,
