To enter to win a spot in the class, leave me a comment on this post with your favorite Christmas cookie!

Edited on October 13: I forgot to put when the winner would be announced! So to give everyone time, I’ll pick a random one October 14 after lunchtime. Thanks so much! I’ve loved reading about everyone’s favorite cookies! Although it’s making me hungry, ha ha! :)

Edited on October 14: Comments are now closed and the winner has been announced here!

I’ll go first! My fave Christmas cookie is a tie between clothespin cookies (mmmm, icing!), buckeyes (I’m from Ohio, ha!), and snowballs or wedding cookies (powdered sugar: messy but I just can’t resist them)!

What’s your fave?

  2. Gingerbread! Thanks for the opportunity

  3. Family tradition for Santa are Mince cookies. Of course, we always make a few dozen extra to have with our coffee on Christmas morn. A great cookie if you like one that is not overly sweet. Hope to make some early this year to have while making Christmas cards in class!

  4. I’m already signed up for class but would love to win. I took the last class – it was great. My favorite cookies are thumbprints – with raspberry jam and a cherry. Also love another cookie called Turtles – a round cookie covered with chocolate. 4 pecans stuck in dough before they bake look like turtle legs. yum….. Thanks for the give-away

  5. Alejandra B. says:

My favorite cookie would be anyone with lots of chocolate in it!

Thanks for the chance to win a spot in this awesome class :)

  6. I love pebernødder (“pepper nuts”) and brunkager (“brown cakes”) – both are traditional Danish christmas cookies :o)

  7. My favorite is oatmeal raisin, but I use cranberries instead of raisins for the Xmas version!
thanks for the chance to win!

  8. My favorite are the sugar cookies I make with my grandchildren. They love cutting out the Christmas shapes, decorating them but most of all eating them!

  9. Frosted sugar cookies are the best! Thanks for the chance to win a spot in the class!

  10. Karen from Ontario says:

my fav christmas cookies are shortbreads….guess I am just an old fashioned girl.

  11. My favorite would probably be one that no one in my family makes anymore….it was similar to a Mexican wedding cookie, but it was called Quadbettas. They were stored in lots of powdered sugar. The recipe seemed to make hundreds, but was still kinda pricey.
Thanks for the chance to win a spot.

  12. You make me laugh – we have to earn a spot on this list. I love those flaky white lumps covered in powdered sugar (may called Mexican wedding cookies?) that leave your mouth coated with sugar so everyone knows you have blown your diet.

  13. No cookie culture here really – it’s mince pies or mince pies… yum! love them.

  14. Thanks for chance to win your fab class. My favourite Christmas cookies are gingerbread men.
