To enter to win a spot in the class, leave me a comment on this post with your favorite Christmas cookie!

Edited on October 13: I forgot to put when the winner would be announced! So to give everyone time, I’ll pick a random one October 14 after lunchtime. Thanks so much! I’ve loved reading about everyone’s favorite cookies! Although it’s making me hungry, ha ha! :)

Edited on October 14: Comments are now closed and the winner has been announced here!

I’ll go first! My fave Christmas cookie is a tie between clothespin cookies (mmmm, icing!), buckeyes (I’m from Ohio, ha!), and snowballs or wedding cookies (powdered sugar: messy but I just can’t resist them)!

What’s your fave?

  1. My favorite Christmas cookie is the old fashion cut out sugar cookie with a little bit of vanilla frosting (green or red added) and a ton of sprinkles. I really enjoy them a couple days after they are made when they start to get a little hard and crispy. Yummmm.

Favorite Christmas cookie…. every year I make Almond Bars and they are always a treat! Have had the recipe for ages and get requests for me to make these each year. They are a shortbread type cookie with almond extract, sliced almonds on top, and then drizzled with a powdered sugar frosting. Not too sweet and makes a really pretty presentation too.
Thanks for the chance to win the spot in the class too… sounds awesome!

  15. Lol Lisa, now I’m hungry after looking at the cookie links! I hadn’t heard of clothespin cookies, buckeyes or snowballs before but they look so delicious, I’ll have to get cooking! My favourite cookies for Christmas are the gingerbread men I make with my lads. I love the smell of all the spices as they are cooking and of course with a 9 and 13 year old doing the decorating the gingerbread men end up as one eyed monsters, aliens or other things like that! This year we’re going to try making these http://pinterest.com/pin/285315368/ and these http://pinterest.com/pin/160177403/
