Edited on October 13: I forgot to put when the winner would be announced! So to give everyone time, I’ll pick a random one October 14 after lunchtime. Thanks so much! I’ve loved reading about everyone’s favorite cookies! Although it’s making me hungry, ha ha! :)

Edited on October 14: Comments are now closed and the winner has been announced here!

I’ll go first! My fave Christmas cookie is a tie between clothespin cookies (mmmm, icing!), buckeyes (I’m from Ohio, ha!), and snowballs or wedding cookies (powdered sugar: messy but I just can’t resist them)!

What’s your fave?

  9. My favorite cookie is called “sour cream” cookie – made with sour cream – an old family recipie that did not have exact measurements of ingredients, that through trial and error, I was able to perfect – it is a cakey-like texture covered with granulated sugar — mmmm melts in your mouth!

Thanks so much for the giveaway for the Holiday Card Boot Camp. These classes are always awesome. My favorite cookie at Christmas is snickerdoodles. My mom always made these at Christmas time and when she did, the house always smelled so good. I started making them for my kids at Christmas time and now they are making them for their kids.

  19. I am from Ohio, too – but I do not like Buckeyes – my sister loves them! My favorite cookies are
a rolled oatmeal cookie which we cut in shapes and frost after baking. They are the yummiest!

  20. Favorite cookie? Oh boy … I will agree with the snowballs because they melt in your mouth! Another favorite are stained glass windows – chocolate rolled around pastel mini marshmallows then sliced. I know, more of a candy than cookie but oh so pretty on the plate!
