To enter to win a spot in the class, leave me a comment on this post with your favorite Christmas cookie!

Edited on October 13: I forgot to put when the winner would be announced! So to give everyone time, I’ll pick a random one October 14 after lunchtime. Thanks so much! I’ve loved reading about everyone’s favorite cookies! Although it’s making me hungry, ha ha! :)

Edited on October 14: Comments are now closed and the winner has been announced here!

I’ll go first! My fave Christmas cookie is a tie between clothespin cookies (mmmm, icing!), buckeyes (I’m from Ohio, ha!), and snowballs or wedding cookies (powdered sugar: messy but I just can’t resist them)!

What’s your fave?

  11. My husband’s favorite cookie that I make only at Christmas is Mexican Wedding Cakes. My girls love a cookie that we call Pelota. The recipe was given to me years ago when I was in high school by a really good friend’s mother.
I would love to win the opportunity to take this class. Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us.

  12. My favorite cookie is actually more of a ‘roll’ that’s made with crushed graham crackers, marshmallows, cherries and walnuts. Thanks for the chance to win a spot in this great class!

  13. Hmmm my favorite cookie is a lemon Melt Away. A close second is a cowboy cookie with pecans..
I could use a boot for my Christmas cards! A boot n the butt to get me going but a boot camp would be sweet too! Lol

  14. I love making dark chocolate ginger cookies and triple chocolate espresso cookies … can you tell I love chocolate??! Thanks for the chance to win!!

  15. I also stay true to my Ohio roots and love Buckeyes! I love both chocolate and making cards, so I think that I need to take the Holiday Card Bootcamp :)

  16. Wow another card class. I missed the other two and would so love to do this one, but winning it would be even better. Lol. Thanks for sharing the love. Talking about love, my love of Christms cookies goes way back and I have to say that there are many but my favorite is the traditional and old fashion shortbread cookies. Nothing like one of those melting in your mouth with some yummy royal whip icing. So delicious!

Lisa I just wanted to ask you if it was okay to share your Camera button here on your blog on my own blog and link back to your tutorials? I have learned so much from you this past year and I am still behind on all the post that you have made sharing tips and techniques. I love your photograpy and wanted to share about it on my blog too. Is that okay with you? I also wanted to share that I made a card based on your Kitchen Window that you shared at HA Blog. I know I was late for the challenge, but still wanted to use it for my inspiration. Thought you would like to see what I came up with
Thanks so much for the beautiful inspiration. Hugs.

  17. Thanks for the chance to win… My favourite Christmas goodie.. isn’t actually a cookie, but is mini Pecan pies. ( http://joseagar.com/recipes/category:desserts-and-puddings/baby-pecan-pies/) – a mouthful of caramel, pecan and shortcake pastry. Yummy

My favourite Christmas cookie would have to be the Ginger Bread Man. My two girls and I love to make these during Christmas Holidays. Looking forward to seeing you in the Holiday Card Boot Camp.

  19. Hi Lisa!
Thank you so much for a chance to win a spot in the wonderful Holiday Boot Camp!!
My favorite Christmas Cookie has to be the Gingerbread Man! I love making all shapes and sizes of cookies with all the fabulous decorations but none rate as high as the Gingerbread Man!
    Big Hugs!
    Lisa

  20. I always make a spice cake with chocolate chips and raisins and bake it in little mini cake pans – would that count as a cookie? It is really yummy and has all the Christmas flavors (cinnamon, nutmeg etc) wrapped in one.
