Edited on October 13: I forgot to put when the winner would be announced! So to give everyone time, I’ll pick a random one October 14 after lunchtime. Thanks so much! I’ve loved reading about everyone’s favorite cookies! Although it’s making me hungry, ha ha! :)

Edited on October 14: Comments are now closed and the winner has been announced here!

I’ll go first! My fave Christmas cookie is a tie between clothespin cookies (mmmm, icing!), buckeyes (I’m from Ohio, ha!), and snowballs or wedding cookies (powdered sugar: messy but I just can’t resist them)!

What’s your fave?

  1. My favoirte cookies are gingerbread men. Our grandsons help me decorate them. Hard to tell who has more icing.

  2. My favorite cookie? So hard to choose but maybe the peanutbutter blossom with the Hershey’s Kiss in the center.

  3. Butterfingers are my favorite Christmas cookie. It’s a recipe my grandmother always made (her recipe card has a 1943 date on it). They melt in your mouth and are a must have at Christmas –we make them every year.

  4. My favorite cookie would be sugar cookies. My kids and I would make them a week before Christmas, (this way we till had some for Christmas) ad they would decorate them with all sorts of goodies. On Christmas Eve we would leave 2 special cookies for Santa to enjoy AFTER he left all their presents under the tree! Thanks for a chance to win the reallllly great Holiday Card Boot Camp! Ciao db:)

  5. I agree, those wedding cookies are pretty wonderful! However, I think my absolute favorite is Pfeffernusse. Those are addicting.

I know the Boot Camp is going to be fun! Thank you for a chance at a spot.

  6. my favorite Christmas cookie is the anise cookie that my mom used to make. It’s not my favorite “tasting” cookie, but I wouldn’t think of not making it because it reminds me of my mom, especially her last years when she would stay over night with us the night before Christmas. It was so much fun having her wake up with us, and all of us in our pj’s drinking coffee, listening to Christmas music and opening presents.

  7. Oh my goodness I love Christmas cookies, but I’m a plain Jane. I like sugar cookies or snickerdoodles. I am always making treats for the holidays! I love it! Thanks for the chance, I can’t wait for the class!!

  8. It’s a tie… between Snowballs, peanut butter blossoms or good old Tollhouse!

  9. J. Melissa Mortimer says:

I love all cookies but if I had to choose it would be “stained glass” cookies. Sooo good!!!

  10. I love, love gingerbread!

Thanks for the giveaway and have a great reast of the week!

  11. What do you mean you feel like a celebrity? You are! My favorites (if I can only name one) are date pinwheel cookies. Thanks for the chance to win a spot in this awesome class!

  12. would have to be gingerbread – what is christmas without gingerbread men and houses and women..

  13. We’re not THAT into cookies, but love the old styled sugar cookies, ginger cookies and fruit cake. Thanks, Lisa!

  14. I totally love purely and simply shortbread made with rice flour…a real sign of christmas that is simple and symbolic…gingerbread goes alright too! Thanks for the chance to win this awesome class!

  15. I adored the last class and I do make about 50 Christmas cards every year with my husband’s poem inside! My favorite Christmas cookie is the Mexican wedding cakes. Thanks for the chance!

  16. My favorite Christmas cookies have to be decorated cut outs. I have my wonderful grandmother’s mouth watering recipe & they are delicious! So fun to make, too.

  17. Karlee Barnes says:

My most favourite Christmas cookie is either homemade Gingerbread cookies or Cinnamon biscuits! Mmmmmm can’t WAIT for the all goodies to eat at Chrissy time!!!

  18. I love a peanut butter cookie recipe… just peanut butter, sugar and egg white. Unfortunately, since my daughter was diagnosed with a nut allergy 2 years ago I haven’t been near a nut….. ok my husband doesn’t count LOL!!

  19. Christmas Cookies! Yum…. It’s hard to think of one favorite but it wouldn’t seem like Christmas in our house without the pecan meltaways!

  20. My favorite cookie is the Italian Wedding Cookie or Knot cookie. It’s an old recipe I learned from my grandmother, lots of work, but then my kids still love them. Hopefully my grandchildren will love them too. Thanks for the opportunity to win a spot in this class.
