To enter to win a spot in the class, leave me a comment on this post with your favorite Christmas cookie!

Edited on October 13: I forgot to put when the winner would be announced! So to give everyone time, I’ll pick a random one October 14 after lunchtime. Thanks so much! I’ve loved reading about everyone’s favorite cookies! Although it’s making me hungry, ha ha! :)

Edited on October 14: Comments are now closed and the winner has been announced here!

I’ll go first! My fave Christmas cookie is a tie between clothespin cookies (mmmm, icing!), buckeyes (I’m from Ohio, ha!), and snowballs or wedding cookies (powdered sugar: messy but I just can’t resist them)!

What’s your fave?

  1. I love shortbread, yummy! Looking forward to the new class and glad you’re part of it.

  2. Jennifer Harrison says:

My favorite Christmas cookie is the cutouts me and my sisters make. Its my grandmothers recipe and they are just delicious! Thanks for the chance to win.

  3. I like the boxes they sell at that time of the year with many kind of cookies :-) thatnsk for the chance to win with these 2 marvelous designers ! love them !

  4. Terri (blindstamper) says:

I don’t think I could choose a favorite. I usually only eat homemade cookies during the holidays…and I like them all.

  5. My favorite Christmas cookies are peanut blossoms with dark chocolate kisses!

  6. I have made Buckeye’s before and I am not from OHIO. My son had to do a report on the Midwest and we had to make a food from there. We came across Buckeye’s and he wanted to make them something awful! They were easy, tasty and a HUGE hit with his class. :)

My favorite holiday cookie isn’t a cookie at all…it’s my mom’s donuts. She only makes them at Christmas, she gives us each a huge bag every year and I long for Christmas Eve when I can sink my teeth into them again.

But if I HAD to choose it would be the standard Sugar Cookie because I love to watch my kids decorate them. I don’t eat them but watching them decorate them is the best part and fat free too! ;)

  7. I’m not from Ohio, I’m from Michigan so it’s NOT Buckeyes! My favorite is Thumbprints (with the jelly in the middle).

  8. Every year I have to make a cookie that looks Christmasy and tastes wonderful. It has red and green cherries in it along with some nuts. It tastes similar to a crescent with the fruit addition. It’s a rolled refrigerator cookie that you can keep in the frig and cut off as many as you like and then bake them. Soooooo good! However, I don’t know what it’s original name is.

  9. My favorite Christmas cookies are Linzer cookies. They are a two layer cookie with a cutout shape in the top layer. Then the layers are sandwiched together with jam or jelly. I love seeing the gorgeous colors of the homemade grape, raspeberry, peach and black raspberry jellies we make from our own fruit…they just sparkle!

  10. Hilde van Rijnsoever says:

Favorite christmas cookie? Are there special christmas cookies at all? I know those decorated cookies….But we don’t really have christmas cookies in my family :(

  11. Thanks for the opportunity! I would love to get a spot on this boot camp! Favorite holiday cookie, hands down….homemade “sugar cookies”. Thanks.

  12. I love Stollen which isn’t a cookie but a cake from Europe with a roll of marzipan in the center, especially with a good cup of coffee. Thanks for a chance to win a place in this superb class.

  13. Marilyn Bronson says:

Thanks for the opportunity to win and my very favorite Christmas cookie is Peanut Blossoms. I know they are not specifically for Christmas but it is the only time I make them because I eat too many of them:)

  14. My favorite Christmas cookie is so hard to choose! I would have to say it’s a tie between the delicious frosted sugar cookies that we make every year with a recipe from a wonderful friend and former neighbor and spritz cookies…I just LOVE almond flavoring! YUM!! Thanks for a chance to win a spot in the class.

  15. How can I choose a favorite cookie… that’s like choosing a favorite child. I do love a well frosted sugar cookie though…

  16. Christmas cookies are my downfall! My favorite…chocolate gingerbread!!

  17. I just tried these cookies a couple years ago and they soon became a quick fav. Sugar cookies half dipped in white chocolate and then sprinkled with crushed peppermint candies. YUM!!

Thanks for the chance to win! :)

  18. My favourite christmas cookies (biscuit to me!!) are Cadburys chocolate covered, all flavours are just as scrummy. Thanks for the chance to win this great class

  19. There’s just something about a frosted sugar cookie. Don’t know if it’s the colorful sprinkles, or the fun I had with my grandmother rolling out these sweet treats. And now I’m showing my 3 year old grandson how to cut and frost these delightful holiday treats!

  20. Stacy Simpson says:

Snickerdoodles! Would LOVE to win a spot!
