Another Hero Arts 2013 Catalog share!

Hey all! How’s your week going so far? It’s been super hectic here getting ready for Christmas, but I’m almost all done. WHEW!

Thought I’d take a minute to share another card using NEW Hero Arts 2013 Catalog stamps! Isn’t this flower just the cutest little thing ever?

The flowers were stamped in the new Pale Tomato ink — just love this color so much! And, I added some gray shading to them (and around them to create a shadow) to go with another new ink color: Charcoal! It goes perfectly with the Soft Granite that I used in the background! Love. It. Seriously.

The “thank you” is part of the Thank You background stamp, I just stamped it in Charcoal and  cut it out. This is a great way to get more from word background stamps like this. Then I stamped it again in Soft Granite. Check it out:

What are your fave stamps in the catalog? I’d love to hear!

Okay back to wrapping presents! Might have to make some more of these after Christmas! :)

  1. I have so many favorites from the new catalog that I couldn’t list them all here!!!! This is a fantastic catalog and Hero Arts has created some wonderful stamps and new products. I love the new Tweed Pattern background and the Numbers background and the Art of the Card Postcard Collage and the Art of the Card Friend Collage and many others, plus the new Fancy Dies and the Dual tip Markers and the Shadow Ink Cubes……..( to name a few)!!!!!

  2. Such a cute card, Lisa! I really like that you used the Charcoal mid-tone ink as opposed to traditional black…it looks great!
I’m loving ALL the new stamps, but my faves are “Leafy Vines” and “Loop Flower Pattern” (I just ordered them from SSS). Honestly, I just want EVERYTHING from this catalog, but I’ll have to behave myself :-)

  3. Beautiful card, Lisa! Love the way you’ve used the background stamp and the flowers are so cute and pretty! Oh my goodness I love so many of the new stamp in the catalogue so my list of favourites is very long but includes New Baby, Fantastic Birthday, Looped Circle Background, Hexagon Background, Leafy Vines, Love Jar, Etched Daisy, Postcard Collage, Heart Cupcake, the trucks with birthday and hello messages………..I could go on and on!!
