Hey hey! Do you have your Mother’s Day cards done? I just popped mine in the mail this morning. Wish I’d have thought to take more photos but I was too excited to get these sent. You see, I’ve had this idea to use the “Moms are Magical” sentiment from the Studio Calico Mother’s Day set to make a shaker card for the longest time. Just seems to go together, know what I mean?
I thought this butterfly die cut from Hero Arts was the perfect thing to pair with it. I contrasted the paper I used for the shaker part of the card with the outside.
And, believe it or not but I used the same fresh peach ink to stamp the background on all 3 cards. Crazy right? From top left, that’s an eggshell, pink and poppy notecard. The stamp I used has been discontinued, but I still love it. I listed some alternatives in the supply list below.
