Yes, you read that right — the September Essentials by Ellen release is here! I know I say it every month, but this release is so good you all! That Brandi did it again!
Today I’m sharing a super fun card using the new Dinomite Christmas stamps and coordinating Dinomite Christmas Dies. Check it:
Is that super cute or what? That “raptor present for ya” just cracks me! And I love that you can use it ALL YEAR LONG! Yes, I’m YELLING! Anytime I can get more from my supplies like this I do a happy dance. And I think this would make the perfect birthday card for tweens!
I used Daniel Smith Cascade Green to color him. This color you all — it’s like magic in a tube! It has the most amazing granulation. It comes in both a 5ml and 15ml size, and I’ve been using it for years for pine trees but now hello! It’s the perfect dino green!
I put together a super quick coloring video to show you how easy peasy this is — just click on the “watch channel” button to view it — sorry I can’t figure out how to embed it right here for ya — yet…!
This is my first time doing an IGTV video and I’ve got more in the works too, so stay tuned…I’d love to hear your feedback. Hows the length? Too short? Too long? Do you like the voiceover or prefer just music? Lemme know! :)
Here’s a closer look at the card:
I finished it off with a simple background made with the Cover Plate — reminds me of a cozy sweater! That punny sentiment went into a Speech Bubbles Die. And of course I had to add a little snowbank with the Landscapes Dies.
Last but not least, I sprinkled in a few Crystal Clear Droplets — and that was that!
