I’m continuing on with Prussian blue explorations today with a sympathy card. They’re always so hard for me to make, but I’m hoping that these flowers give a friend just a little comfort.
See those feathery blooms in the petals? Those are Prussian blue working it’s magic. I love the look this gives — I could never make paint do this if I tried.
Had to add that this is all Prussian blue watercolor — it has a great range from light to dark. To get the darker areas I just dropped in more color while the paint was still wet.
I finished off the card with the “with sympathy” sentiment from Totally Random Sayings Vol 3 — if you don’t have a sympathy stamp in your stash this is a great set to have in your toolbox. It has happier sayings too — and the font just seems to go with everything.
Hope you all have a great weekend, and hug your loved ones close. xo

Its beautiful. Blue is my favorite color. Did you use a stamp or was this a freehand drawing? Barb
Hi Barb! It was just freehand — I didn’t draw first. Thanks you! :)
