There’s nothing like NEW ink!

There’s nothing like new ink, amiright? Especially new Catherine Pooler inks! It’s my favorite brand of ink — the colors are so vibrant y’all!

I have TWO cards to share today with these beauties today, so read on…

I Appreciate You So Much!

This first card uses the four NEW CP inks: merlot, clay mask, serene and sparkling berry PLUS sea glass from the previous release — couldn’t resist adding that pop of blue-green!

I stamped the candles from Make A Wish on a strip of white cardstock to make a pattern, then trimmed the front of my base card and adhered it on the inside.

Then I looked through my sentiments and landed on the EBE All About You set — I figured this card would be perfect to give to my MIL! I stamped and die cut the “you”, then I die cut 3 more of the “you” backgrounds and adhered them together to give them some support.

Next I cut up the “I appreciate you so much” from EBE Nice of You and added ’em with foam tape — I had them already stamped and in my stash all thanks to the coordinating die — love that!

Then to finish up the card it was just a matter of adding some sequins! I think it looks super classy!

Happy Birthday

This next card uses those candles from Make A Wish as actual candles! :)

This card was so much fun to make! And it takes care of all the August birthday cards I need to send out too — yay for the MISTI!!

I stamped the candles in rainbow order — so fun. And as for the flames, they were stamped first with catching rays and then the bottom of the flames were edged with orange twist. Pro tip: remove some of the excess orange with a microfiber cloth so that the yellow doesn’t get too covered up.

I die cut the flames and popped ’em up with some foam tape and that was that.

Supplies

This has to be the most colorful supply list ever!!!! I listed the four NEW colors first, then the colors in the order that I used ’em on the birthday card, starting with the flames on the candles.
