Happy Birthday Aunt Ruth!

She doesn’t read my blog — I think — so hoping it is safe to post this here…because her b-day isn’t until the 23rd.  Aunt Ruth, if you are reading this, close your eyes right now, ha!

I LOVE this set of three Japanese dolls by Hero.  It’s one of my faves of the new 2009  stamps.  So fun, and you can do so many things with the dolls — put gems in their hair, stamp their dresses on papers and cut out, and more.  Those are some new pink pearls too — yum.

And I love the Urban Prairie line from Basic Grey!  Love the colors, and how it kinda reminds me of a modern calico quilt.   Plus it has prairie in the name — so how could a prairie nut like me possibly resist?

Check out the Hero Blog for more details + the sketch I used to make it.
