Hi you guys! I’ve been busy cleaning out my crafty area to make room for new Hero Arts stamps (check out the Hero Arts blog on Monday to see them, can’t wait!). I found a bunch of stamps that I have duplicates of, plus some oldies but goodies, plus some buttons and flower embellishments. Here’s just a little sampling:
So, how about a giveaway!
To enter, leave me a comment with something you love about spring! I am going to limit the giveaway to US residents only, as I plan to get a BIG flat-rate postage box and cram it full of lotsa stampy goodness.
I’ll announce the random winner on Friday.
Here’s just a few things that I love about spring to get things rolling: the birds are singing, our wonderful Texas wildflowers are blooming (yep, even in this drought we’re having!), Miss Plum blooms her head off, it’s perfect for bike riding and kite flying, and the wild onions are tender and tasty (perfect for omelettes). Oh and strawberries and asparagus are in season. Yum.
Can’t wait to see your comments! And! For an extra chance to win, subscribe to my blog feed and leave a second comment to let me know that you signed up. Already a subscriber? Leave me a second comment and let me know that, too. Yay!
Wow, what a nice giveaway. I especially love the cute fox and the cloud stamps. During spring I like seeing the many colors of the flowers and also feeling the warmth of the sun.
Hello sweet Lisa!!!!
I LOVE Spring! Ours doesn’t arrive till late..(23 degrees this am) and my favorite signs that it is approaching are: Big fat robins dancing in the yard; paper whites pushing their heads up out of the ground; earth worm castings after a rain; grass turning green; birds singing in the early morning; frog songs at night when we get to open the windows; and my favorite…….. DAYLIGHT at 6am!!!! Still waiting for most of these things:)
And I TOO would love to win your stampy goodies!
To one Lisa from another, thanks so much for the opportunity to help you clean your closet!! I love it :) Probably my most favorite thing about Spring here in TX ( I see u r in Austin. I am in Katy) is the fact that the humidity hasn’t hit us quite yet! The days are glorious with perfect temps and tons of wildflowers, and even my rose bushes are in full bloom :) It’s beautiful!!
Forgot to mention, I just added you to my Google Reader! Thx again :)
I love the smell of freshly-cut grass! Thanks for the chance to win!
I love April showers and the May flowers that come from them!
SPRING!!! I love DaffoDownDillies!!! (errrr, daffodils! :D)
Thanks for the chance to win!
I love seeing all the flowers come up and bloom–especially tulips and daffodils!
PS: I subscribe via Google Reader–does that count?
Yep, that counts! Thanks so much, Jamie! :)
What is not to love about Spring…the new, the green, the bright, it’s a time of new beginnings!
Spring spring spring. LOVE it right now. Granted the UK isn’t as dreary as what people normally think we did get enough gray weather and gosh, it got dark early here in the winter. 3:30 p.m.!!! Now that it’s been nice and sunny and the time change, the sun has been out more and my pictures are so much happier. LOVE!!
Now, you shouldn’t have subscription as the criteria, it should be whether or not one reads all that he/she subscribes to regularly :P
I love the bluebonnets here in Texas! I never knew of wildflowers in S. Florida, but when I came here I fell in love with all the wildflower that grow in Texas. So pretty! I also love spring cleaning…time to get on that…
That fox is soooo foxy! :) I live in Seattle so I love that the spring brings us some sun to break apart all the dreary looking days, and to get a little vitamin D. Plus when I take my toddler to the park I won’t always have to wipe off rain from the playground equipment before we can play. :)
I love seeing the bulbs blooming and the light of day lasting longer. Thanks for a chance to
win.
Hi, Lisa! That is so nice of you to offer such a great giveaway! Thank you!
What’s not to love about spring?? Most of all, the gorgeous spring flowers, shrubs and trees all abloom and the sweet, sweet sound of the birds singing. Today I saw a beautiful blue jay outside my kitchen window. I can’t wait for warmer days so that I can be outside poking around in the flower beds!
Me, again! I just subscribed to your blog on Google Reader – I think I did it right. Can’t believe I haven’t done so before!
What I love about spring is the flowers and watching everything turn green! ANd the warmer weather!
I love how Ohio gets so green! And the soil smells so good. (also, I get the rss and follow you on twitter!)
That’s so generous of you Lisa! I love spring! I love the tulips and daffodils! I love the singing birds and the flowering trees and I love that it starts to get warmer! I’m not a fan of winter (live in IN) so I love ANY sign of spring, especially sunshine! :)
