No siree, I didn’t like this stamp one little bit.

Then I used it. (Had to, because it’s the stamp of the week.)

And now? I like it!

  1. Why did you not like it, Lisa? You did a great job with it. I got this stamp after seeing all of the great things others were doing with it. Thanks for more inspiration! Love it on the Kraft.

  2. wow that’s cute!! I never liked it either honestly, never knew what to do with it!! But that’s a great card, I love the simplicity!

Time to get out the ol’ colour pencils I think!

  3. Wow, I can’t believe you didn’t like this stamp, Lisa. It’s one of my faves. I’m glad that you now like it. . . .and no wonder. . . .gorgeous card! :)

  4. Love your card Lisa – the twine is the perfect touch too. I wasn’t sure about that stamp when I first saw it myself… good for backgrounds but I’m not sure what else to use it for! I’m looking forward to seeing some more inspiration in the HA Flickr group I think, then I’ll be investing ;)

  5. Hi Linda and Barb! I didn’t like it because to me it seemed all hairy for some reason! And busy! Hairy and busy, blerg. But then I used it…! Doesn’t seem so bad anymore, keep thinking it would look neato colored with 50’s colors! Oranges, golds, avocado green…

  6. Oh, I love what you did with this stamp!! Love, love, love it on the kraft card. I’m going to try that!

  7. I know what you mean about not liking the stamps…at first. BUT as soon as I play with them, I almost always LOVE them!! This card is so gorgeous! Love how you used the sentiment with the design!! Can’t wait to see more! Your ROCK this week’s blog!
