Heyyyyyy, you know what day it is? It’s the day SANTA comes to town! Yeah! (It’s also Day 12 of Ellen Hutson’s 12 Tags of Christmas — how the heck did THAT happen?!)
I went a little overboard today and made a bunch of tags — just couldn’t stop!
It’s so easy to do, thanks to the Over the River set! Especially because that river? Yeah well it’s also a road! So you can make a whole little town scene faster than you can say “chimney”! Annnnnd you can stamp it on two tags at once! Happy dance.
Another trick? You can stamp those trees in green and then go over ’em with a damp brush so they look like watercolor!
Did you notice who made a guest appearance? Mr. Bear had to join in the fun, along with that naughty or nice sentiment. Santa approves! BTW, did you know that there’s a “flesh color” zig marker? It makes coloring Santa a snap! Also! I just used carmine on his hat and then added the shading with blue gray — same color that I used on the road! Love getting more from my supplies like that.
And did you notice that I added a clear droplet to his hat?
Last but not least, I just couldn’t resist adding my fave cactus, all decked out with ornaments! (AKA these fun droplets.)

Simple and modern!! Thanks for inspiration!!
All your tags have been AWESOME! I love these ones especially that SANTA!
Adorable set of tags! I especially love the Santa tag and the Naughty or Nice tag with the bear! Very fun designs!
The scenic one are my FAVORITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sooooo cute. My favorite is the cactus. This would be great for a series of gifts all going to the same recipient.
It’s so awesome to see that Santa does visit those towns that have cacti as well as the ones you always see with pine trees! Thanks so much for all you’ve shared and all the ways you’ve inspired!!! Wishing you a very Merry Christmas!
Cute use of the little stamps. I used some
of them for my Christmas cards.

Oh these are so fun – following the road on Santa’s journey – very creative designs!
Love this little set of tags!
Wow, amazing set of tags, love these tags of “on the road with Santa”. I think the cactus is my fave, especially with those colorful droplets for lights. Thanks for tips on coloring, blue gray zig for shadow on the carmine red looks great. I learn so much from you, thank you so much.
These are so sweet! I love them put together to create a scene.
What a creative idea, and super cute tags!!!
What fun tags! I
love the river cards.

What an adorable set of tag. I love the scene following from one tag to another. Great idea.
You can never have enough Christmas tags….Love all these! Colorful, festive but most of all fun! Happy holidays!
Thanks for so much fun and inspiration over the last 12 days! It’s been great to see your take on all our favorite Christmas songs. How fun that you played along everyday!! Thanks for sharing your love of watercolor with us all!
The droplets on the cactus remind me of our time in 29 Palms, the middle of the desert in the Mojave! HOT, HOT, HOT! The Joshua trees were all around us. This is a great little town you have put together and I love how it all connects like a puzzle! Kind of makes me want to make a puzzle like this; but looking at yours is more time efficient at this stage of the Christmas crafting! Super great idea and I did not see the bauble on Santa’s hat at first nor did I know they made a Zig flesh color marker ! Thanks for the inspiration!!!!!
Ahhh I love 29 Palms area and Joshies!! Thanks for bringing back the memories!
Fresh and modern tags! It’s been a lot of fun playing along with 12 Tags Christmas! Thanks for all the inspiration! Looking forward to seeing your new creations on IG! Merry Christmas!
LOVE them! What a fun idea and so cute!
